Great home from home British fish n chips and mushy peas! Always on special on Fridays at €6.95. Staff work exceptionally hard as the place is always very busy. Great place for a nostalgic meal.

stumbled upon Bernies while out for a walk when visiting El Campello. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food was great, had the English breakfast, very good portions. Good selection of drinks available. Stunning views from the outside seating area. Such a relaxing and pleasant surprise. I definitely recommend visiting if or when in the area.

Great place to go for typical British food… the staff are exceptionally polite and attentive. The food is top notch and at very good prices. Came here for dinner one night and then again for breakfast. I can’t recommend this place enough

My husband and I came for the Sunday Carvery and were greeted in a warm and friendly manner. The food was excellent and all members of staff especially Lorraine were very professional. To all you English expats dying for home grown food this is the place to go. For Spanish...just give it a try.

The best fish and chips in Alicante, imho. Id recommend ordering the medium fish and chips it is a lot of food. Also, you can switch the peas for a salad. The setting, right on the beach, really makes this a great place to eat and or drink!

Consistently great service and yummy food! ❤️ the fish and chips, Sunday roast, and apple pie! Perfect location beach side with a huge terrace and ample seating inside, too!

We visited twice for our evening meals during a one-week stay in El Campello. Friday night is fish & chips special night - only 6.95 Euros (and it includes mushy peas!). The quality was very good. We noticed that filet steak was on the menu, so came back the following night for that - an 8oz filet steak with chips, salad & peppercorn sauce for about 22 Euros. Again, the quality was excellent, as was the service from the friendly staff.

Visited several times while on hoiday. Can't fault this place. Food was lovely, staff are absolutely amazing. One of the staff gave me a bottle of perfume as I was leaving the next day so couldn't purchase myself. Wouldn't except any money in return. I'm so touched at this act of kindness. Thank you so much .

Bernie’s is amazing. We have come twice in the past 5 days and absolutely love and would recommend to anyone. Food comes very quick and fresh and very nice. Lovely service. Was served by louise who was amazing and by another man and women but did not get there names. Definitely recommend to anyone coming.
